Since we’ve all been cooped up at home for a while now, we’re looking for little excuses to celebrate and make things fun. Our boys are Star Wars-obsessed so we decided to celebrate May the Fourth with a little Star Wars party! Over the last week, we’ve put together a few Star Wars party ideas to get ready for this little surprise party, so I thought I’d share, just in case you’re looking for a fun excuse to celebrate!

Star Wars Party Decor // It’s easy to go crazy here and under normal circumstances, I probably would do just that grabbing balloons and things. But, since it’s just us at home, I ordered this cute banner and napkins from Target, along with a space-themed tablecloth. I also thought these masks were fun and would make for good photos!

Fun Star Wars Party Food // With any luck, we’ll have some nice weather on May 4th and we can do an outdoor picnic in the backyard with just simple things like hot dogs, burgers, fruit kabobs and such. I also picked up these pancake molds for a festive breakfast and this cake pan for sweets.

Ideas for Gifts // For the last few years, we’ve gotten the boys new Star Wars shirts for May the Fourth and this year we are definitely doing the same. GAP has super cute tees right now for boys and girls, so I grabbed this one for Jackson and this one for Dylan. Both boys are also getting these PJs as a little extra something. They also both already have these Baby Yoda pajamas from Hanna Andersson and really l love them!

The boys have also been into helping cook during this time at home, so we decided to get these StormTrooper aprons for them, as well.

Activities // Along with some much needed outdoor playtime with our pool noodle light sabers. One thing I thought we could do is make light saber pretzels because everything is easily order-able with groceries.
