Anyone else a little relieved that the big weekend sales are over? I did my fair share of posting about it for sure and I got some great deals (hopefully you did too), but it’s nice to see that my inbox has calmed down a little bit! I’m definitely not done shopping and I’m jealous of you if you are!
This week is one of our busiest as far as “things on the calendar” are concerned, with two parties and a festive “date night” with Jackson. And as much as I like living in my yoga pants (still working on making this a little less “regular” but that isn’t working), I love a good excuse to dress up!
Today I’m sharing 3 festive holiday party looks for upcoming parties and events. I wanted to show a range of outfit ideas from trendy to traditional in hopes that it would provide some inspiration for what to wear if you’re just not sure!
3 Festive Holiday Party Looks
Holiday Party Look 1: Trendy
When the fall Halogen x Atlantic Pacific collection came out, I literally sat at my computer waiting for the clock to strike 12 PM so I could buy this outfit. And honestly, if my everyday life allowed for me to wear this daily, I would totally do it.
It is a lot of volume, a lot of tulle and a lot of color, but the pieces are super well made and, when paired together, make a fun style statement! I loved adding a bit of shine with the silver shoes – which are a year-round classic – and turquoise accessories made things a little more funky.
I clearly can’t get enough of the holiday party looks in this collection, because after we shot photos for this post, I bought this dress too. I’ll be wearing it with the star shoes to a party this weekend!

Holiday Party Look 2: Sparkly
This is a great go-to holiday outfit, especially if you default to wearing all black as often as I do (which is a lot!).
This Duffield Lane top is super comfortable and it looks great with jeans, as well as your favorite black pants. To dress it down for something like helping at a school party, I’d layer a striped tee underneath and pair with jeans and flats.
These Lisi Lerch earrings are also one of my year-round favorites, but they work exceptionally well in green at the holidays! I’m not great with integrating holiday color into my wardrobe, but this is one easy way it works for me!

Holiday Party Look 3: Traditional
I bought this skirt last year, inspired by this look on Kate Middleton. I wore it to Santa brunch with the boys last December but plan on getting more wear out of it this year because it’s a perfectly classic piece for the holiday season!
It was easy to pair with black, but I think a plaid skirt also looks great with a chambray top or a cozy white sweater and some boots.
