I was randomly scrolling down Instagram the other night and this photo of Pippa Middleton popped up in my feed. I’m clearly having some royally-inspired style moments lately, and this one was one of those immediate “I need that outfit” moments and I started shopping for the perfect red monochromatic look for a couple of upcoming holiday events.
Red isn’t usually a go-to color for me, but that thought goes out the window during the holiday season. And I also feel like a good pair of red pants could take me to Valentine’s Day paired with this blouse!
I put together 4 options for this Pippa Middleton holiday outfit. And you’ll see that, when I styled these outfits below, that the key pieces of each look are from the same brand. I did that so that the reds would most closely match each other so you’d get a true monochromatic look a la Pippa.
Don’t forget to leave comment and tell me which one is your favorite!
4 Pippa Middleton Inspired Looks for the Holidays
Pippa Middleton Look 1: Most Exact
These pieces from J.Crew make the most close-to-real recreation of this Pippa Middleton holiday outfit. I asked J.Crew and these colors are also the reds that match best, as well! If we’re being honest, I’m buying this entire thing and am planning to wear it to an event coming up – and you’ll see it here on the blog too.
Pippa Middleton Look 2: Mix Up the Accessories
So maybe you want to be a bit MORE festive? I love the idea of adding some plaid shoes or a sparkly headband (maybe both?) to this holiday look. I really think a pair of plaid shoes is a wardrobe staple that you’re sure to wear year after year.
Pippa Middleton Look 3: Try It With A Skirt
Not a pants person? Try to recreate the look with these super affordable pieces from Target! Both the skirt and sweater are super versatile and I think you could get a lot of use out of them together and separately.
Pippa Middleton Look 4: Make it More Casual
Here is a dressed down version of the look with loafers instead of heels and a kick flare style pant instead of a more formal trouser. I feel like this would have been very wearable at my office when I was working in Houston!
