Christmas really is sneaking up on us! I mentioned that I had my two big client holiday events this week, which was definitely festive. And last weekend at home we put away all of our Halloween stuff and sort of “transitioned” the house to a more fall/Thanksgiving sort of decor.
Although we’re shooting some holiday season content today, I’m resisting putting up anything for Christmas at least for another week or so, but I definitely started getting a few things for the house and the boys to get the Holiday shopping season started.
Let the Holiday Shopping Season Commence!!
For the house, I picked up a collection of trees from Target for our entryway table. I got the gold and flocked trees I featured in the collage above, but also these green trees to go with them. I mixed up the small and large sizes so that I can play with that a bit. I plan on still using the gold candlesticks I had from Halloween with maybe some sparkly candles.

Because we have Christmas card photos this weekend and two Christmas programs coming up, also couldn’t resist getting the boys a few things to get them started. We got Dylan this Grinch sweater because he is Grinch-obsessed! He’s been watching it since summer and shows no signs of being at all less interested in it. And Jackson is still BIG into dinosaurs and this little sweatshirt from H&M is going to be perfect for him.
I have this vision for our Christmas card photos this year, and the Storm Trooper PJs are the start of it. I really hope they cooperate this weekend because if it turns out, it’s going to be SO good! I’m also seriously eyeing these bow pajamas as a little gift to myself!
