I’ve truly become a last minute shopper at Christmas. And, if we’re being honest, I do a lot of it online because it seems to fit into my work day. I’ve also found some amazing options to shop in person for gifts no matter if you’re planning ahead, stopping on your way to a party or just looking for something unique and fun that you haven’t seen anywhere else.
I’m excited to share three different gifting ideas with you that I picked up at Gordmans within the last week. Not only are the gift options (and decor if you still need/want it!) really fun and fantastic, but I got everything in this post for less than $125 – which I thought was pretty darn good!
I put together this little “office” set as a gift and this is what we gave our babysitter as a thank you for watching our boys and helping us throughout the year. I love the dry erase board with the list and finding fun, festive holiday candles and an ornament to go with it just made it more seasonal!
Quick Pick Ups for the Kids
Whether you’re heading to a party, need something for school or a few stocking stuffers, there were so many great things for kids at Gordmans! I grabbed a couple of candy-filled trucks and then couldn’t resist the more traditional Twix candy canes. They also had the holiday Hershey’s Kisses ones, but boys’ favorite candy lately is Twix so I know they’ll love them.
The little s’mores set was also fun and I think would be a great thing to take if you’re staying with family for the holidays. We may do this as a little pre-holiday fun this coming weekend before the holiday.
Someone once gave me a great idea of always keeping wine bags and little accessories around for when you get invited to someone’s house so you have a bit of a hostess gift stash. This is actually something I want to put into better practice in the new year (my stash was empty!). If you’re going to do that, and if you’re shopping now for things to take to your holiday events this coming weekend, Gordmans was a great stop. They had all the wrapping I needed, plus I loved these little “cheers” stirrers (I like them even for coffees on Christmas morning or New Year’s Day) and a candle to be more festive. Also, I really enjoy a good wine sweater. Don’t ask me why but I totally buy them all the time and think they’re hilariously fantastic gifts!
Also, my local store had a few displays where you could purchase toys for as little as under $10 for Toys for Tots. I did that too and wanted to just suggest it as a great way to give a little something special to someone else this season! Happy Shopping!
Thank you to Gordmans for sponsoring this post. And thank you, my readers, for supporting the brands that make the HSS feed possible.
