Mommy Monday: Giddy Paperie

It’s beginning to look a lot like….Mommy Monday is getting ready for Christmas!

I got in my car the day after Halloween to go run some errands and I just was hitting the button on my steering wheel to mindlessly change the radio station and all of a sudden, White Christmas came on. I seriously did a double take when I looked to see that the Holiday station was already up and running! Then I saw a couple of bloggers I follow start sharing their gift guides – how are we already getting ready for Christmas?

I do have to say, I’m sort of getting ready to hop on the bandwagon. I took down all of our Halloween decorations over the weekend, but kept a few “fall” things up in the dining room for Thanksgiving. Clint and I set up a date on our calendars to take a trip to Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland to buy a Christmas tree for the house and later this week I’m meeting with someone to talk about getting lights on our house. Oh…and my gift guides will start next week.

All of that seems a little early (although it’s probably late), but one thing I always do like to do early is get my Christmas cards done. This Mommy Monday partnership came at the perfect time and I was SO excited to get introduced to Giddy Paperie. They make the most beautiful holiday stationery suites and I really think you all will love them.

I picked the Candy Cane Crest collection and I just love the traditional plaid and greens. I’m so pleased with how the cards turned out! We did our family pictures (for the first time since Dylan was 6 months old!) in September, so we finally got to use a photo of all four of us on a card. I also love that the set came with some note cards, which will be great for holiday thank you notes, and I look forward to using the tags on some hostess gifts for some upcoming events.

They also have some really cute gifting ideas like notepads (this one would make for the prettiest grocery lists ever), tea towels, and everyday stationery that is just all sorts of hand-painted prettiness (my favorite print is here)
