Happy Friday! Now that Halloween is over, I can’t believe how quickly I’m looking ahead to the holidays. I spent Tuesday and Wednesday taking down our Halloween decorations and I was slightly tempted to start taking out a few pieces of Thanksgiving/Christmas decor. I’m not quite ready to listen to Christmas music, but when I was driving the other day, I saw that Sirius XM already has their Holly station up and running!
Today’s look is a very easy fall weekend go-to outfit. This Rachel Parcell peplum top is my first purchase from the collection and I’m a big fan. I love this burgundy color for fall and the length is super flattering and great for a little bum coverage (which means I can wear it with leggings, right?).
I also have to tell you about these beautiful necklaces from Elizabeth Lanier Designs. Elizabeth is a jewelry designer from Houston and her jewelry is all handmade. These necklaces have horsehair tassels and can be worn a number of ways. I liked layering them for a little more mix of color and texture. She also makes some really pretty beaded tassel earrings that would be great for dressing up a look like this.
If you’re in the Metro Detroit area, I hope you’ll stop by Macy’s at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi tomorrow between 2 – 4 for the event I’m hosting for the World of Vera Bradley. It’ll be lots of fun and I hope to see you there!
Have a great weekend!
