Fringe & Flare

This week was exactly the week I needed and I’m happy to be ending it feeling accomplished and productive. With traveling and our schedules being so hectic lately, it’s been nice to have a week that was fairly quiet and gave me time to catch up at home and just get work done, especially as we get into the holiday season.

Tomorrow we have Jackson’s Thanksgiving program for school and he has been practicing so hard! He has a line for the first time in any school program and he’s so excited. We’re also doing our Christmas card photos with Tosha this weekend, and with any luck we’ll get a few things done around the house too. I may even get out some holiday decorations!

I got this top in the Shopbop sale a few weeks back and it’s under $100. It’s stretchy, soft and comfortable and I like that it’s a more neutral color with a feminine cut. It would be great with dark skinny jeans and boots, and maybe even white jeans.

But on the topic of jeans, let’s talk about my favorite fringe jeans. Can I tell you how awesome and versatile these jeans are? You saw them in this post a couple of months back and I really wear them all the time. They’re great with heels and I’m interested to see how they pair with boots in the coming weeks. For a casual look, and another way to wear, I’ve paired them with a really simple striped tee, tucked in, and I love it. I’m thinking of pairing them with this sweater next. There are still some available at the link under “Shop the Post” below.

Oh and tune in to my Snapchat (ninarand) and/or Instagram story on Monday to get a behind the scenes peek at the holiday guide I’m shooting. I can’t wait to start rolling out holiday content soon!
