If I could wear a mirth caftan every day of summer, I probably would do it. They’re so easy to throw on for any occasion, easy to dress up or dress down and you can find a flattering style for any body type.
I found Mirth Caftans on Instagram earlier this Spring and, after connecting with the super sweet sisters who created the brand, anxiously awaited the launch of their Summer 2016 collection. Their collection has a variety of styles that work as travel dresses, pool/beach cover-ups and the perfect look for brunch.
The one I’m wearing in this post, the Corfu in Oatmeal, is one of my favorites for a more refined, dressed up look. I like it because it’s a more tailored fit (but still flowy enough to be comfortable and always flattering!) and has unique little details like the fringe on the sleeves and hem and the slits in the front and back. It’s the perfect style for me, especially right now as I’m in an “in between” phase and I always feel good when I’m wearing it. I’m able to wear my go-to SPANX underneath and still feel comfortable, and the V-neck and sleeves makes me feel like I’m showing enough but covering what I’d prefer to, so it’s a really confident-feeling way to dress!
I’d wear this caftan as I’ve styled it for a lunch date, heading out to brunch or just about anywhere on vacation! It’s an effortlessly cool and easy look that you’ll want to wear over and over again, I know I am.
