I say it all the time but I’ll happily say it again, breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and that is especially the case when it comes to weekend brunch. We don’t have a lot of places to go for a great Saturday or Sunday brunch where we live, so we end up doing a lot of cooking at home and doing our best to make meals unique and special in our own dining room.

Today, I’ve partnered with Bering’s Hardware in Houston and Terrafirma Ceramics to show you one of our favorite ways to do fall brunch. Terrafirma Ceramics (which is sold at Bering’s) creates some of the most beautiful dinnerware and tabletop accessories. All of the pieces are entirely hand-made and each piece has its own unique characteristics and no two pieces are exactly the same. Plus, each piece is signed and dated by the person who created it, how cool is that? The idea is that you can mix and match pieces to create a perfect table setting for you, your home and the occasion. All of the pieces I used to create this setup are from the Cobalt collection and I especially love being able to mix light and dark, with the pretty lacy print pieces being my most favorite.

For this fall brunch, I did a little combination of things I made and things I bought. I consider myself to be a pretty decent cook nowadays, but I never mind a little help from local stores. This quiche is the Cowboy Quiche from the Pioneer Woman, and it is absolutely delicious. For us, eggs aren’t complete without guacamole and salsa, so they were our first choice for condiments. I also really like a salad with a quiche, so this is an easy mix of spring greens, tomatoes and a light dressing of balsamic vinegar, olive oil and a squeeze of lemon.

To bring in some fall flavors, I picked up some apple cider and cider doughnuts (my son’s current favorite!). I’m also never one to turn down dessert, so a few caramel apples made their way into this meal, as well. You really probably could make these yourself, but these are from a local apple farm and cider mill, and they’re really, really good, so I left those to the experts.

This whole meal and set up was really quick and easy, so if you’re looking for something to try this weekend, I would definitely add this one to your list of possibilities! And whether you’re in Houston (or shopping online), stop by Bering’s Hardware to add a little something new and special to your fall tabletop (you won’t ever leave empty handed!).

Happy weekend!

Thank you to Bering’s Hardware and Terrafirma Ceramics for partnering on this post.
