It’s a (Chambray) Wrap

Although I’ve got lots of travel photos to share, I only took photos for one real outfit post when we were in London. We were so busy bopping around the city that stopping to take some photos just didn’t feel right, so we continued on with the fun and I’m really happy that we did.

This is that outfit.

I wore this little chambray wrap dress (which is now on sale for under $100) to afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason with my mother-in-law. It was an unusually hot day in London, so the fact that this dress is so light and easy made it the perfect choice to wear for tea. When I bought the dress, I was a little iffy on how the wrap around the front would look and if it would add volume where I really don’t want it. When it comes down to it, I think it actually adds a little bit of shape and can actually do a little hiding (especially when worn after one eats FAR too many scones at afternoon tea).

I added the little pops of pink with my big, bright Kendra Scott necklace and “wear it nearly every day” Presmer bracelet. I’ve also worn this dressed down with flat sandals and very minimal jewelry.

Oh and are you sick of these shoes yet? Because I’m not. I told you that I wear them ALL the time and, as you can see, it’s very true. I think I’m going to buy them in black, what do you think?
