Now that I’ve shared how we’re dressing up our house for Thanksgiving, I thought I’d also share some Thanksgiving outfit ideas for this year that range from super comfy to dressed up (but still comfortable!). These are all Thanksgiving outfit ideas that I plan on wearing for our holiday weekend activities which are looking to include dinner at home, putting up our Christmas tree and being lazy while doing a little Black Friday shopping from the couch!
3 Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas for all your Family Activities:
Casual Amazon Sweater
SHOP THIS CASUAL THANKSGIVING LOOK:
This sweater was one of my 10 recent Amazon buys last month and it’s the perfect Thanksgiving weekend sweater. It’s super cozy and comes in 6 other color combinations. I chose this one because it felt most “fall” to me. I love it with both jeans and leggings (depending on what you’re most comfortable in!). It would be a great option for a more casual Thanksgiving dinner or just for hanging around the house, decorating and enjoying family time
Dressed Up For Thanksgiving Dinner
SHOP THIS DRESSED UP THANKSGIVING LOOK:
We grew up dressing up for holiday dinners at our house, and I still really like to do that. My thought is that if you’re going to put in a whole lot of effort to make a big deal dinner, it’s worth dressing up for it!
When I saw this dress on the Gal Meets Glam Instagram a few weeks ago, I knew I had to have it for Thanksgiving! I absolutely love the color and print and it is SO comfortable with a smocked waist and flowy fit. It is a little bit long on me so I’m having my seamstress take up the length a touch, but I can definitely see wearing this dress throughout the holiday season.
Cozy Athleisure Thanksgiving Look
SHOP THIS COZY THANKSGIVING LOOK:
Once dinnertime is over, this is what you’ll probably find me in for most of Thanksgiving weekend! This Duffield Lane sweater jacket is super comfy and cozy and I can already tell that it’s going to be one of my most worn pieces all winter long. But you’ll for sure find me in this as I work on my Black Friday shopping (spending my birthday money too!) and playing with the boys as we stay cozy inside!
I also can’t turn down a good pair of leggings and this Peloton pair was my favorite from their latest collection. For all of you non-Peloton friends, there are tons of great leopard leggings out there. The shiny Spanx ones would be awesome with this sweater and I also found a pair at Athleta that I may buy, because I’m not sure there’s such a thing as too much leopard.
