What I Wore This Week

Happy Friday, friends! It has been a week and I’m so glad to see the weekend. We are going to the local high school homecoming parade tonight with the boys and some friends and then plan on spending the weekend doing lots of catching up (and getting ahead) before we get into a busy month of October.

I haven’t done one of these posts in a while because, let’s face it, I haven’t really gotten dressed in a while. But this week, I had a few reasons to get dressed, plus I was slightly motivated to get dressed so I figured I’d document it and share with you all.

I also tried to post these in the LikeToKnow. It app because I’ve actually found myself using it more lately, so I thought I’d try and do a better job of taking photos that maybe don’t make it here or on my Instagram feed and put them there. Let me know if you use it and what you think!

Work Day at Home

This Free People dress is one of two shorter dresses I’ve bought in probably the last year. I got into a big maxi/midi dress thing and decided it best to hide my poor pale legs. Well, I could still benefit from a spray tan but this dress is SO comfortable and comes in a bunch of colors.

Luncheon

My sister gave a big presentation here in our town this week so it was a rare “get fancy” during the week occasion for us. I posted this exact outfit in this collage post a couple of weeks ago and I liked it so much when I put it together on the collage that I ended up buying it. Just a sizing note on the skirt, I’m wearing an XS and it still is a little loose so consider sizing down if you’re questioning it!

Meetings

So I get that this probably isn’t everyone’s typical meeting attire, but for me it works! I bought these pants back in March and finally had them shortened to fit me. They’re super stretchy and super comfortable. I’m not usually one to wear super wild pants but I LOVE these and got so many compliments on them so I highly recommend giving them a try! Sizing note on this one: I was told to size up, but they do loosen slightly with wear so just consider that when choosing a size.
