Summer Sephora Sale Must Haves

What’s the Deal?

So the amount of your discount depends on how much you buy at Sephora and your level in their Beauty Insiders program.

  • Rouge members get 20% off purchases in store and online with code HEYROUGE
  • VIB members get 15% off purchase in store and online with code HEYVIB
  • Insiders get 10% off with code HEYINSIDER

Rouge members got to shop a little bit early last week, but if we’re being honest I’m not the most loyal Sephora shopper (I usuallyshop there when they have sales or there are exclusive products that I want) so I’m only Insider level. But if I’m going to purchase a few things anyway and they’re on sale, I’ll take that bonus!

If you’re not signed up yet, you still can do it and save the 10%.

Things I Have & Would Re-Purchase

Tarte In Bloom Palette // If you’re looking for a great, neutral palette, I HIGHLY recommend this one. It’s a great one whether you use 1 shade or 5 shades for an eye shadow look. There is matte, shiny, and in between. I even use the darker shades for eyeliner.

IT Cosmetics CC Cream // I only wear “foundation” when I’m shooting photos or have  special occasion, but the rest of the time, I wear this. It’s awesome coverage, and I love that it has SPF 50. This is the perfect summer foundation and if you’re looking for a bit more glow, try the Illuminating version. I wear shade Light in this product.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara // This is AMAZING mascara that if you haven’t tried yet, you should. I really like it because it gives great volume to your top lashes but you can use the “leftover” on your bottom lashes and it really stays in place.

DryBar Brushes // I love the Drybar brushes for my at-home blowouts! I have the Full Pint Medium Brush but would 100% buy the larger Double Pint for myself, as well. They make a smaller one too, which I think would be best for someone with shorter or even finer hair.

Urban Decay Chill Setting Spray // I’ve talked about this before but I was SO doubtful about this product when I received it, but now I use a setting spray almost every day. I use the All Nighter spray normally, but I like this Chill spray for the summer because it has a technology that cools your skin and keeps your makeup in place. Just as an example, I wore it to our 4th of July party last summer and there was dancing outside, chasing the boys and just general craziness. By the time we got home, I was sweaty and my hair was a mess but my makeup was perfectly in place. That totally sold me!

On My Summer “To Try” List

My goal for summer is to make my beauty routine a little quicker and a little easier, so I’m going to give a few multi-tasking products a try:

SuperGoop Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 // I hear lots of good things about SuperGoop Sunscreen but have not tried it yet. I like the “unseen” idea of this one, and I also like that it would work well with or without makeup. I don’t think it would be my “sport” sunscreen, but I do think I’d like it for every day, normal activities.

Too Faced Sweetie Pie Bronzer // I love the idea of this bronzer being a bronzer/blush/highlighter in one and minimizing the steps in a quick makeup routine for summer days. It’s also supposed to be matte so not TOO shiny when we’re trying to avoid that extra summer shine.

Too Faced Palette // I’ve been wanting to try this Neutral Eyes Palette, so at 10% off, I like it even more. It’s sort of a softer, pinker set of neutrals than the Tarte Palette I mentioned above. But again, a great multi-tasker for your makeup bag!

Charlotte Tilbury ANYTHING // I’ve done some sampling of the Charlotte Tilbury products in store but I don’t have anything…yet. I’d really like to try her Airbrush Setting Powder (I’m not crazy about the one I use right now), The Hollywood Flawless Filter Foundation and the Magic Cream. Have you tried any CT products? What do you love?
