Mask of the Month: BeautyCounter

I’ve been on my new skincare routine for a few weeks now and I really do feel better already! I want to keep sharing products I’m trying as we go along here because I’m really enjoying learning more about what you all like and use, and sharing more about what I’m liking.

I feel like Beautycounter products are everywhere lately! Everyone is posting about them, selling them and they just seem super popular, so I wanted to see the fuss was about. This is one of a few that I’m going to be trying and sharing more about in the coming weeks. And no, I’m not going to be selling the line, just buying from and supporting friends and giving it a try!

What Do I Like About It?

Okay, so I know you’re looking saying “well this isn’t actually a mask. ” And you’re not wrong, my friends, not wrong. But I’m adding it to this Beautycounter Recovery Sleeping Cream to this series because it’s a nightly treatment that I use to supplement my skincare routine so for purposes of this, we’re calling it a mask.

I like it because it’s a super simple product that can be applied quickly, you don’t wash it off and it works! It makes my skin feel super smooth and soft the next morning and it’s been great for combatting winter skin lately.

When Do I Use It?

As I mentioned in my beauty update and skincare routine posts, I’m “masking” twice a week and then doing my GloPro 2-3 nights a week. I actually really like this one on GloPro nights, especially when my skin is feeling particularly dry, which is A LOT lately. I feel like that’s when it absorbs best

I also like this one when I’m in a rush and don’t feel like going through all the steps of my nightly routine. I feel like the hyaluronic acid and other ingredients are providing both treatment and moisture, so this is a great one for me on those nights as well.

What Products Do I Use With It?

As I mentioned above, I love this when I use my GloPro, it’s great. But on other nights, I like to use my Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser (an awesome daily exfoliating cleanser) to clean up my skin and then the Colleen Rothschild Matcha Tea Treatment Toner.
