If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen some of the photos I’ve been sharing lately as part of the Pure Michigan #FallFilter campaign. We had so much fun shooting the campaign that I really wanted to share some of the photos here on my blog too.
Every year since we moved back here, I’ve looked forward to an apple farm visit with the boys. A couple of years ago, Jackson had a class field trip to Leaman’s Apple Barn, where these photos were taken, and we’ve been going back ever since. They have a really awesome playground for the kids, hayrides and even a little train that is pulled around the farm by a tractor. Clint and I even took turns on the tractor train and let’s just say it was a tight fit for both of us!
We always end the visit with donuts and cider (with extra to take home). This year Dylan decided he needed an extra treat. He “stole” a lollipop from one of the baskets in the store, opened it and started eating it, walking up to it saying “I have a popsicle.” So, needless to say, we bought that AND of course one for Jackson because what one has, the other apparently has to have.
This is just really one of those fun family traditions that signals the start of fall for us and I’m so happy to have some photos of it that include all of us! I hope your fall season is off to a great start, as ours is!
