Happy Weekend! Does anyone else feel like this week flew by? I really could have used another day to get things done this week. I’m sitting on like 3 weeks worth of ironing hanging in the basement, a list of month-end work projects and some super exciting blog projects that I’m going to start this weekend.
OOH and we have family photos this weekend! We haven’t taken family photos since Dylan was 6 months old. We’ve done photos of the boys thanks to my photographer and friend Ashley, (who does all of my blog photos) having mini sessions for holidays and also just taking the cutest photos of the boys when she’s at our house working with me. I’m just looking forward to have pretty photos of all four of us, dressed nicely and smiling. Wish me luck that the boys will actually cooperate and make that happen.
As promised in Monday’s post, I’m sharing a second way to mix and match these pieces from Talbots. These striped pants were one of the favorite pieces I found in the fall catalog. I love that they have a sort of athleisure feel to them but can also easily be dressed up.
I actually did wear this to school pick up and wore the cardigan for that but when it’s happy hour (and reasonably warm enough), going sleeveless with this cute shell is perfect with a little accessory update and a glass of wine.
Other Ways to Wear These Pieces
- Striped pants with a chambray shirt and belt
- Cardigan with an easy tee and jeans
- Shell with skinny pants and a blazer
- Striped pants and sweatshirt
