I realized the other day that I’ve been seriously slacking on my beauty content, which I got a little bummed about because it’s one of my favorite categories to work on! Over the summer, with our wacky schedule, I spent a lot of time not maintaining my beauty and skincare routines, and most of the time not wearing makeup, so there wasn’t much to talk about.
Now that things are feeling a little bit back to normal, I wanted to get back into the beauty swing of things by sharing some of my favorite go-to products that I have been using a lot lately and that are worth sharing:
Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser // I use this cleanser every. single. day. And it is one of my very favorite products that I’ve ever used. It’s a gentle, exfoliating cleanser that I feel has really made my skin softer and more glowy and even more clear. I tend to get a lot of clogged pores on my chin and this has really helped with that!
RMS Beauty Luminizer Quad // I bought this product in the spring and it’s one that I would absolutely buy again! Over the summer I used mostly the lighter white shades on the left hand side of the palette. But for fall, I’m toning it down a bit and using the rose gold and bronze shades for highlighting on the high points of my face (I’ve been watching YouTube videos for that terminology!). It’s really a good product that I feel brightens up your face and is the perfect finishing touch for your makeup!
Honest Beauty Mascara // So I bought this one earlier in the summer and I didn’t LOVE it at first, but the more I used it, the more I got to like it. I really like the primer part of it and the mascara is really great for full, longer-looking lashes. I also found that it doesn’t flake, lasts well and it’s definitely one of my top 3 mascaras.
Urban Decay Naked Palette // I’m sad that they’re discontinuing this palette so I bought a second one (which is on sale right now!). It’s a really great, easy, everyday palette that you can use to create SO many looks. I usually use about 3 colors from it for my current daytime makeup, but the blues and shimmery shades are really great for adding a little something for evening or just for a little something extra anytime!
Pantene Charcoal Shampoo & Conditioner // I saw a bunch of bloggers doing sponsored posts with Pantene with this set of products, so I went to the store and picked them up for myself! I really wanted some scalp cleansing and just a hair refresh. I alternate using it with the Kerastase products (shampoo here, mask here) that I also love and I feel like my hair does really well with the combination of all of them. I do notice less buildup on my scalp and hair, so this set is a great one worth trying!
Colleen Rothschild Roisin Scented Candle // This candle has been my “get ready” candle lately. The rose scent is really light and feminine and I really just love it! It’s really the perfect bathroom candle, and when it runs out I plan on buying another and using the jar for holding my brushes.
