A couple of weeks ago, I connected with the Charlotte Tilbury team and they set me up for a Tilbury Transformation at the new counter in the Nordstrom store at the Somerset Collection. I’ve used just a couple of Charlotte Tilbury products to date and was so excited to have a little “me time” at the store to get my makeup done and spend some fun time.
Andrea created this look for me and I loved working with her – and the other ladies at the store, as well. She was so fun and really took time to explain the techniques and products to me, and it really made me feel like I could do this look at home!
I went it for an “Everyday Glam” sort of look that wouldn’t be too much for everyday but was also elevated and different than what I usually do! This look lasted all day and I was kinda bummed to wash my face at the end of the day because it held up so well and was so pretty!

I had heard amazing things about the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream and, in person, it did not disappoint! Even on my hand, it really moisturized and made my skin just glow. It actually worked even better when applied after the Goddess Skin Clay Mask. This is a quick 10 minute mask, and I came home with a sample that I used up already – so I plan on purchasing this one!
Two other favorites in this category were the Flawless Filter, which they categorize as a “complexion booster.” You can wear it on its own, which is what I did because I typically go for lighter coverage, or with foundation. I loved the finish on it and it really did make you feel like you were living with an Instagram filter. And the Film Star Bronze + Sculpt was another “must” for me. It’s one that I would easily wear every day for a light “contour.” It also has that dewy finish to it so you’re fresh, polished and beautiful!
To give me an “Amal Clooney” type look, we used the Eyeshadow palette in Dolce Vita. It is a gorgeous quad that you can use in a number of ways. You start at the top left and apply the colors in clockwise order, and you can up the intensity depending on the occasion. That last color (bottom left) is the Pop shade it is heat activated so you use your finger to apply just a bit in the center of your eyelid to finish things off.
A while back I had tried the Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes mascara and I hated it. It flaked and ran and I just didn’t like it. Apparently this was a popular opinion because they just re-released a new version of it and it is MUCH better. I actually wore this to gymnastics with Dylan at the end of the day and my makeup was all still perfectly in place by the end of that!
Finally, lips! The Pillow Talk Lip Cheat & Liner has been really popular and I was excited to get to try it. It’s a great everyday pinky nude and I have to say, it’s really freaking pretty. This will be another combo that I plan on purchasing for myself.
The day I went in for my Tilbury Transformation was the day that the new Collagen Lip Bath was released. More collagen the better, as far as I’m concerned and I liked how glossy and soft this made my lips. I’m not sure they got really plumped up, but I liked how they looked so I was a fan!
This was such a fun experience and it wasn’t a “blogger thing” or anything like that. You can book an appointment at Nordstrom to get your own Tilbury Transformation to have your makeup done for an event, or just because. I recommend just because, since this was just a fun, worth it experience that I loved and couldn’t stop talking about! I actually plan on going back to have Andrea do my makeup before we go to the Elton John concert.
I also really found some products I loved and will be doing some shopping and getting new things into my beauty routine!
