Happy Tequila Tuesday! Honestly I’ve never been great about planning ahead to celebrate these fun little days and “holidays” but this post is one of two themed posts coming your way over the next week. Of course, then I probably won’t do any again for months, but the two I have, I really like!
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that wine is typically my drink of choice. But when it comes to cocktails, one of my favorites is a grapefruit Paloma. We always have the ingredients for it here at home, and it’s a quick and easy one to mix up. I also love it because it’s light, not too sweet and really not too strong (although I’m sure you could make it that way if you need to!).
Here’s How I Mix Up My Paloma
In a cocktail shaker, combine ice, 2 shots of Blanco Tequila, 3 shots of grapefruit juice, a drizzle of agave nectar (depending on how sweet you like your drinks) and a tiny pinch of salt (I’ve been doing one small turn of pink Himalayan sea salt). Shake till combined and strain into two glasses. Top it off grapefruit LaCroix (as much or as little as you want for flavor and drink strength and garnish with a lime or a grapefruit wedge. I’ll usually squeeze my lime in there a little bit, as well.
