I hope you all had a great Mother’s Day weekend! We had a great time and so much so that I didn’t get a chance to get this post together for yesterday, which was my original plan. We spent Sunday morning taking a breakfast picnic to the playground with the boys and then had a cookout at our house with my parents. Then, naturally, we stayed up way too late watching the last two episodes of The Crown, Season 2. My British obsession is at an all-time high this week, considering it’s Royal Wedding week, and I’m totally into it. You’ll see more about that on the blog this week – don’t judge!
To start the week, I’m super excited to share this summer-ready outfit. I found out about Toile and Stripes on Instagram a month or so ago and immediately knew I had to connect with the owner and designer, Abby, to share more about the brand with you all.
I get pretty excited to find Michigan-made brands and Toile and Stripes is a great one! The collections are made with sustainable, long-lasting fibers and the pieces created are great staples that are really versatile and comfortable.
I never turn down a good jumpsuit and THIS is an amazing jumpsuit. First of all, it is CRAZY comfortable in linen. It’s also super versatile! The neckline is reversible so you can see that I wore the round neckline forward (which I probably normally would do, especially when I have the boys and have to do lots of carrying Dylan), but you can wear the V-neck forward, as well, which I think would maybe dress it up a bit too. These wedges are among my favorite summer shoes, but I could also easily wear this jumpsuit with sandals for a casual daytime look.
