Mom + Baby Essentials

This post is sponsored by BabbleBox, all opinions are my own.

We all know that one of my favorite things about having this blog is the opportunity to try new and fun products. I’m actually working on sharing more reviews of things we share and use around here on a more everyday basis and today’s collaboration actually worked out perfectly for that.

A couple of weeks ago, we got this Toolkit for New Moms and we were excited to give it a try! Some of the products in here were new but some were actually products I had purchased for us in the past, so it was nice to get a restock and also to get to share them because I haven’t done that here before.

The Oball rattle in the box was one of those products that we had purchased for Dylan in the past – and he was REALLY excited to see another one. A new ball is a big deal around here and this one is great for little ones. The boys are rolling and “catching” this now, but I also actually recommend putting this in for a registry gift because it’s the perfect rattle toy. It’s not super loud, so it works when you’re on a plane or out to dinner and it’s just bright and fun.

We were big into oatmeal cereal around here and I often bought this Beech Nut brand because it was organic and honestly I liked the packaging when I saw it at the store. For the longest time I’d use it to thicken up yogurt or applesauce to make it more filling and it was a great “first food” for Dylan. For a coupon for this one ($1.50 off of 2), head right this way.

One thing we can seriously never have enough of is wipes. I feel like every week we get a note on our school app that Dylan is out and needs more. These Bloom Baby wipes are great because they’re really soothing and smooth. I always like using “sensitive” wipes and these don’t have the chemicals that can create that uncomfortable cleaning on a diaper rash, which is great. They’re also BIG wipes! They clean up quickly and easily and I’m even comfortable using them on hands and faces.

The last baby product in the box that I was excited about was this TempTraq Temperature Monitoring Patch. I had never heard of this before, but it’s an amazing concept and with it being such a sick time of year, it’s perfect timing to have it (although I secretly hope that we don’t have to use it!). You put the patch on your child and monitor their temperature via Bluetooth on an app – genius!

Finally, mama needs a little pampering too and there were two products from Vichy in the kit to test out. Both of the Vichy products were for moisturizing and I felt like they were really great nighttime products, especially at this time of year when winter skin is at its worst. I actually tired both a couple of weeks ago when I was sick and my skin wasn’t looking so hot. I combined the two, adding a little bit of the Mineral 89 Hyaluronic Acid Gel Moisturizer to the Aqualia Riche cream. They’re definitely very moisturizing and very comfortable and smoothing on your skin. The prices are really good, as well, and you can try either, or buy them both as a set and get 20% off with the code BABBLEBOXX18 here.
