Hello, Friday! We had such a busy week and I am so happy to see the weekend. School for the boys was busy this week, and we had a rare mid-week date with Jackson to see the PJ Masks Live (SO exciting). It was exhausting for all of us, and Jackson actually cried on the way to school yesterday because he was so tired. I think he’s still getting used to this new kindergarten/no nap schedule, just like we are.
With everyone being so tired, this weekend we are hoping to keep things a little bit low key and catch up on some sleep. We’re hosting a little cookout at our house with some friends and their kids to play and watch a little bit of football. Last week, I loved that we started the week without a “house to do list” and I’m hoping to do the same this weekend.
So let’s talk about the outfit today! Our last few morning have been chilly, which I love, so it’s time to start talking sweaters (and when it’s 80 degrees next week, just ignore and keep hoping for fall!).
This sweater is part of the 70th anniversary collection at Talbots. The collection is seven pieces, one for each decade of Talbots’ modern classic style. The cable turtleneck is the piece from the 1970’s and inspired by that cool girl, Ali McGraw style that was so iconic for the decade. I love the rich color and it is just the coziest feeling sweater! It’ll be great with leather leggings and boots when it’s colder outside. I’m wearing a size small because I wanted it to be a little more slouchy and I know you all would love the coziness and the comfy fit of this one!
Have a great weekend everyone!
