On My Wish List: 5 Beauty Splurges

I usually try to mix up price points in my wish list posts, but this week we’re talking all about some splurge items for your beauty drawer! I’ve been eyeing all of these items but haven’t pulled the trigger on a single one of them (yet). Most of these are actually “everyday” use items, but all have something a little special to them, so they’re all a little bit tempting.

Dyson Hair Dryer // I know my hair dryer is on its way out, so I’ll have to buy a new one eventually and this Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer means business. My stylist at my salon uses it and I was really impressed by how well it works. When you have as much hair as I do (or probably even if you don’t), investing in a good hair dryer is pretty important. I could spend an hour drying my hair if I have a wimpy little dryer, but this is the complete opposite. Can I justify this one by saying it is giving me the gifts of both good hair and time?

Donna Karan Deodorant // Does it seem a little silly to spend $27 on deodorant? Maybe so, but all I hear are good things about this product! It is really well-reviewed and is supposed to keep you dry and smelling fresh all day long. So it’s an elevated deodorant and I’m nearly sold on this one.

Chanel Cream Eye Shadow // I’m pretty sure I would get a lot of use out of this Chanel Cream Eye Shadow, but it’s still a bit of a splurge for what it is. One of my goals for fall is to work on being more put together on a daily basis and a few shades of cream shadow would be great for quick makeup application. As far as colors, I love the Lilas d’Or, Undertone and Silver Pink.

Chantecaille Gold Eye Masks // This mask is literally soaked in 24K gold serum, seaweed and silk in order to reduce puffiness, and brighten and refresh your eyes. Gold. Eye. Mask. It’s the ultimate splurge, right? You get 8 masks in this set, so when you look at it like that, maybe it makes the spend a little more reasonable. Either way, doesn’t it sound cool? I really want to try it!

Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate // I absolutely suck at contouring, so if I’m going to do it, it needs to be as easy as possible. This Shade & Illuminate product is meant to do a soft and subtle contour and highlight (using their brush). I’ve actually tried this one in-store, but didn’t leave with it because I wasn’t sure I’d use it. Now, as we get into fall, I’m working on getting a little more into doing my makeup every day and I think it’s worth a try!

So, would you make any of these splurges? Which one(s)?
