It seems like the most popular event on our calendars lately has been children’s birthday parties (ahh how times have changed!). So today I’m partnering with American Greetings to share 3 wrapping ideas for kids parties. With all the different present options out there, it’s good to have options and variety in your wrapping!
Everything featured here is from Meijer and the great thing for me there is that i can pick up both the present and the wrapping when I’m out getting my groceries – no extra trips for this busy mama!
I know my kids go crazy over certain movies and characters (depending on what’s new and in at the time!), so if you know what the guest of honor is into, there’s likely some wrapping to go with it! Despicable Me 3 is kind of the latest and greatest around here so I found this cute Minion bag at Meijer (which also has removable glasses) and paired it with a coordinating card and some bright tissue paper.
Bright & Colorful
Although I chose a bag again for this one, I went with an single color theme and a bit of sparkle. Because I have two boys, I seem to always struggle with finding girls’ gifts (weird, right?) and making them appropriately girly, but I’m assuming you can never go wrong with pink and sparkle. I also called in a little help from Jackson on this one and asked him to contribute by adding some stickers to the wrapping. He very much approved of this one!
When it comes to first birthdays or even more “formal” kids’ parties, I like to use a box and some pretty wrapping paper. I try to pick out wrapping papers to keep around the house that are neutral and can be used for a variety of ages, parties and occasions and this one is perfect for exactly that. I went with a coordinated bow and a simple card with best wishes.
