After such great feedback from my Valentine’s Day Outfit Guide, I am excited to share this Easter Outfit guide with you! Easter really seems like a spring style kickoff to me, it’s when we break out our pretty pastels, white dresses and light neutral accessories.
If you all can believe it, it actually snowed here yesterday but is supposed to be almost 70 degrees on Sunday. So I’m hoping that Easter is going to be a bright, spring day and I plan on dressing accordingly (even if there is snow on the ground, I’m still doing it!). For today’s guide I’m also excited to feature some great pieces from Elaine Turner, a designer from Houston who I absolutely love. I’ve always said that she makes the best wedges around, and I got to try out a few new things for Spring that are a perfect fit for your Easter outfits!
School Party Casual
Jackson has a school party next week and we’re also planning on time at home to color eggs and do a little decorating, so that calls for a casual look. I picked up this blush denim dress at Ferne Boutique a couple of weeks ago and it is going to be a spring/summer go to for me. It could not be softer and I love the color. I’ve claimed not to be a “pink person” but the amount of blush and pink items I’ve purchased recently is apparently proving otherwise.
I hope you love the Elaine Turner sandals I’m wearing in this outfit as much as I do, because I think you’ll be seeing them a lot. The lower, block heel is so comfortable and I love the super soft blush calfskin leather. These will also look awesome with cropped jeans and shorts as things warm up!
Easter Egg Hunt
Easter weekend isn’t complete for us without an Easter Egg Hunt at our country club. It’s a brunch and then the kids run out on the golf course to “look” for Easter eggs. It’s a fun and casual occasion, and I think it’s the perfect time to break out the white jeans and a little gingham. This BURU gingham top is one of the only off-the-shoulder tops I have (I just didn’t get into that trend), and it is one that you should definitely get. It’s one size, so it’s flowy and fun, plus it goes with white jeans, regular blue jeans and would even be cute with a skirt. If you’re a big gingham fan, like me, I’d also check out this skirt.
My favorite thing about this amazing bag is the bamboo handle, an Elaine Turner signature. The neutral color is beautiful and will be perfect with so many spring/summer outfits. The bag itself is super spacious and wears well as a shoulder bag or carried on your arm.
Of course, we’ve got brunch on our agenda and that calls for a dress. This white eyelet dress (which also comes in a tencel/chambray-look option!) is a great style. It is relaxed and comfortable but also feminine and flattering. Easter would definitely be just the kickoff of a season with this dress. It’ll be a go-to for summer date nights, lunch with the girls and summer parties.
