When it comes to decorating, the thing I am worst at is the little details. I can pick out big stuff all day long but ask me to style my bookshelves, coffee table or anything like that and I’ll throw a book and a candle on it and call it a day. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn’t but that’s literally my one decorating move.
Now that our breakfast room is all done, I’ve been wanting to add some little decor details to the kitchen. I want our kitchen to look clean and not cluttered, but I’d love it to look a little more lived in. I looked around on Pinterest for some inspiration and I like how cutting boards look when they’re stacked behind the stove, seeing a pretty fruit bowl on the table, and even a couple of candles and a cake plate (preferably with cupcakes) on the counter.
On today’s wish list, I couldn’t help but add this air fryer (because I want to make our own fries at home) and these cute little “yum” placemats for the boys. Also, most things on this list are under $100. Which is your favorite?
