I’m truly hoping that the expression that March “comes in like a lion and out like a lamb” is true because between the wind and the cold we’ve had to start the month, I could really use some lamb like sunshine and warmth. The weather around here has been so crazy that we actually had a 40′ tree in our yard fall into the power lines last week (if you follow me on Instagram, you’ve seen this – maybe a lot of it!) , then it got FREEZING over the weekend and today it is snowing! I’m not sure where Spring is but I really hope it finds its way to Michigan very soon!
Fortunately, before all of that, I was inspired to start shopping and shooting spring looks. With this one I finally tried the bell sleeve trend. I thought that the sleeves would get in my way and drive me crazy but I actually found that to not be the case with this one. Plus, you all really need to check out Amelia Styles. She has the cutest shop with amazing pieces (I have more that I can’t wait to show you) and I know you will just love it.
On the accessory front, these Marc Fisher sandals are my first new pair of spring shoes and I’m really excited to get more wear out of them. They are under $100 (win), the block heel makes them really easy to walk in (win) and, finally, the mix of denim makes them perfect for paring with florals, blues and especially with white jeans. You all have probably seen the Marc Fisher espadrilles that everyone has been wearing on Instagram, but the block heel is a style that is totally worth adding to your spring shoe collection!
