This Week I… Vol. 2

Happy Weekend! I had such a great week and I hope you did too. There’s nothing I love more than ending a week feeling like I really got a lot accomplished. Plus, we tried really hard to be good about workouts, eating healthy and getting some good sleep. Dylan got his first tooth this week and, with that, has also decided to go back to sleeping straight through the night for about 12 hours! It has been amazing and I hope it continues.

I picked up this sweatshirt from OMONI Boutique a couple of weeks ago and it is SO cozy! I also love that the wrists are a bit fitted to add a little bit of a different shape to it. Plus it’s only $50 and all sizes are available in store and online.

We had such weird rainy/snowy weather and I broke out my Hunter boots several times this week. I generally say they’re not the best winter boots because they’re really not that warm (even with the fleece socks), but they come in handy when things are pretty slushy as they were around here. I have a few pair but my original black pair is my favorite. I wear them with these white fleece socks typically, but would love to grab this black pair with a knit cuff too.

Cooking at home and eating healthy was the theme of our week and I’m already feeling SO much better. Here are a few of the recipes we made this week: Roasted Tomato Soup Bowl, Whole Wheat Zucchini Bread, Simple Coconut Chicken Curry and Basic Granola

I’ve also been using my Vital Proteins Marine Collagen every day in my coffee and my Isopure Whey Protein in chocolate almond milk after my daily workout.

I did some ski shopping this week and everything has been arriving over the last few days. I bought this jacket from The North Face (am I crazy for buying a white jacket?), these pants from Athleta and these The North Face pants. I plan on keeping just one pair of the pants, so I need to try everything on with the new base layer stuff that Santa got for me to see what works best.

Do you all have any ski apparel brands that you love?

This week I loved taking a little bit of time for myself and getting back into my skincare routine. I tried two masks this week before bed and liked both of them a lot. This L’Oreal one was to detox and brighten, and my skin felt really smooth after using it. It’s available at Amazon (because isn’t everything?) but you can also grab it at the drugstore or grocery store. I also used this Tata Harper Honey Blossom Resurfacing Mask. I felt a boost of hydration with this one (much needed with the winter weather) and just felt like I was glowing after using it.

I started using my neck cream again and it’s really one of my favorite products. I always feel like I’m doing something good for anti-aging when I use it consistently.
