Holiday party season is upon us! I have to admit that most of our parties around this time of year revolve around the kids, cookies, ornaments and casual (and easy-to-clean) style. But fortunately, we do have a few excuses to get out and get dressed up in the coming weeks!
This Elaine Turner dress is perfect to wear to a holiday happy hour, whether it’s at home with friends or out with work colleagues. I love the retro python print for a fun and interesting change from my usual LBD go-to. I loved pairing it with these pretty cognac heels, which are also very comfortable and have a very wearable heel.
I love a good, versatile dress and this is definitely that. You could also change this look up and dress it down by rolling up the sleeves and layering over a pair of leggings and pairing with booties.
If we’re calling it an at-home happy hour, this is a cocktail that I love to make. It’s simply a glass of champagne with a splash of St. Germain (which is an elderflower liquor – it’s a bit sweet, if you’ve never had it). For the holidays, I like to garnish with pomegranate seeds and mint. It’s a super easy, fancy-looking drink and you can dress it up for nearly any season and make it festive and fun.
