It’s always exciting to me when friends and people I’ve worked closely with do really cool things and today I’m thrilled to introduce you to one of those cool things, Pintuck Clothing.
Pintuck Clothing is all about the modern, American guayabera for women. Guayaberas are usually seen on men (and often as a “wedding shirt”) and they have a Mexican heritage. I definitely saw more of them on guys when we lived in Texas, but they’re not just for the men anymore!
As a mom of two with a full-time marketing job, Pintuck’s designer, Julie, definitely understands the challenge of making time to look put together when you’re running around like crazy. So for the brand, she has created modern tunic and shift dress styles, with traditional pleat detailing – and you can add a monogram to any item! They’re styles that you can easily throw on this Spring/Summer with sandals or heels and some fun jewelry. My very favorite tunic is the simple white cotton, which I’d wear with either white jeans or white jean shorts, neutral sandals and some rose gold jewelry (I really like this ring and these earrings). I also love a good denim dress and this shift with simple flats (or even sneakers!) is perfect for a day running around with the kids.
