Until about Thanksgiving, I thought I was doing pretty well in controlling my sweet cravings. Then came the indulgence of the holidays with cookies and sweets (can I please stop buying holiday peanut M&Ms?) around all the time and that self-control is slowly getting thrown out the window. So, this guest post is coming at a great time for me and I hope for you all, as well.
I’m happy to welcome Janelle, one of the co-owners of The Barre Code Metro Detroit to the blog today to share one of her favorite (healthy) treats. Plus you all know how much I posted about my s’more love all summer so I’ve already hit up the grocery store to pick up the ingredients for this one:
One of my favorite winter snacks, is a healthy sweet treat! This Frozen S’mores Icy Cocoa will have you reminiscing of summertime bonfires while also fueling your body all winter long! I love to add graham cracker crumbles and mini marshmallows on the top!
Frozen S’mores Icy Cocoa Shake
- 2 Tbsp Vegan cocoa mix
- 2 Cups Vanilla coconut ice cream
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Cup Vanilla Coconut milk
- 1/4 Cup Ice cubes
- 1 Frozen Banana
- 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder (optional)
Combine in a blender and blend! Bon Appetit!
