One of the best wardrobe-related things about being pregnant in the fall is obviously the ability to wear layers – that’s a no brainer! I love the option of covering up or accentuating the bump depending on how I feel on any given day (or changing that up throughout the day as my mood changes).
I started my fall shopping this year with getting easy basic maternity tees, both long sleeve (current favorite here) and short sleeve. After that, I’ve continued to add non-maternity wraps, cardigans and ponchos to create several new, and very easy, outfit combinations. Another great thing is that I know I’m purchasing pieces that will last me through the winter beyond this pregnancy, so it has been a good strategy (and use of money) so far.
This Talbots poncho is part of their Breast Cancer Capsule Collection, where 20% of net proceeds from the collection go to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation. There’s also a great wrap, a sweater with a cute heart print and earrings similar to the ones I’m wearing in this post. Shop the entire collection right here!
