Spring Toppers at Shopbop

We’re so close to really being able to put away the heavy winter coats and I’m looking ahead to picking up a few lighter layers for Spring temperatures (and, of course the inevitable rainy days) ahead. Shopbop had a special “Spring Toppers” section up on the site recently and I’ve picked five of my favorite styles to share with you today. Which is your favorite?

The Trench //  You can’t go wrong with a classic trench coat for Spring. Typically, my favorite colors are a very traditional khaki or a sleek black, but I couldn’t help but notice the stripes and dots from Red Valentino on the Shopbop site last week. They’re a splurge for sure, but what a cool compliment to those all white outfits you’ll be wearing any day now!

Style Steal // You can’t go wrong with BB Dakota’s jackets this spring, especially the options under $100! From drapey faux leather to military-inspired twill, you’ll definitely find a favorite that you will wear all season long.

Denim Classic // This one is an essential for all seasons and when you find a good one, you won’t be able to stop wearing it – tie it around your waist, wear it with everything. My favorites lately have been from AG Jeans, because they’re really great quality and so soft!

Military-Inspired // As I looked through the Spring topper section, I noticed a lot of olive green and I’m glad because it’s really one of my favorite casual colors. From a pretty wrap coat from Club Monaco to a more utilitarian style from Anine Bing (and even a vintage-y style from Monrow for under $125), you’ll find the perfect match for your weekend looks.

Spring Leather // Just because the weather is warming up (hopefully), it doesn’t mean that it’s time to put away your leather jackets. One way to make an update for the season is to pick a light colored leather (faux or real) like pink, cream or light blue. IRO is always a great go to for these, and BB Dakota has some great options at a little more wallet-friendly price! For a similar look, scroll back up and check out the Style Steal.
