Weekend Inspiration

TGIF! I think you all know what I'm up to this weekend: the big first birthday party. Get ready for an Instagram-happy weekend from me. I'll share the details here next week, but we're really excited and it should be a lot of fun for everyone.

We took today off of work to prep everything and then head out to dinner at one of our favorite Houston spots. Today is also Go Texan day, which is the kickoff to the Rodeo. One of the day's requirements is wearing western wear to work or school, so Jackson will be participating in boots and a western shirt. Have a great weekend everyone!

• There are a couple of great shopping events going on here in Houston (and one online!) this weekend. Cakewalk Style Shop is having an Equipment & J Brand focus weekend. In town, at Tootsies, there is a trunk show and personal appearance by Kathy Bracewell whose jewelry line, Agate Ranch + Marfa is made of semi-precious stones from West Texas. 
• The recipe popcorn in the photo above can be found here. She calls it party popcorn and it looks like white chocolatey/salty goodness. I'm tempted to make it today.
• I'm on a color kick right now. This week I bought these neon skinnies from Gap and I'm eyeing this pretty, minty dress - perfect for work or date night.
