Or at least it should be soon! With a cold front coming into Houston, it is starting to feel like
fall winter and I’m starting to get into holiday preparation mode. This holiday season is going be so different than holidays past, being that it is Jackson’s first Christmas. That means we need to get a little more into decorating and holiday activities than we ever did when it was just the two of us. I’ll be heading to the Nutcracker Market this weekend with my mother-in-law to begin the decor shopping. I’ve been inspired by the most recent Pottery Barn catalog (what else is new?), and I’m going for a rustic, Aspen-y look for our holiday decorations. Have you all started thinking about this stuff yet? It seems so early, but wow, Thanksgiving is just two weeks away!
It has been a long week here and I’m ready for the weekend. Here are some of my favorite links from this week:
- I was a guest blogger for my friend Lauren’s blog, Sunday Beach, while she jets off to Africa for a few weeks. I shared my favorite fall beauty buys with her readers, check them out here.
- Shopbop sale! I love when I get one of these E-mails. I’m eyeing these few additions to the sale section: this iPhone case, these jeans, and this sweater.
- Tofu tends to freak me out a little bit but how awesome does this recipe for Miso-Maple Brussels Sprouts and Tofu look? Fall flavors, yum.
