I hope you all had a great weekend! It is so nice to start the week after spending a weekend catching up with friends from out of town, celebrating and, of course, lots of good food. On Friday I had dinner with my good friend Merritt (from The Style Scribe) at the new restaurant, Roots, here in Houston. The farm-to-table concept had lots of great, fresh food and our faves were the heirloom tomato pizza and a chevre cheese, mushroom and tomato salad - yum! On Saturday, I had a baby shower for another friend whose son will be just a few months older than mine (outfit post on this one coming this week!), then we to a cookout with our little one.

I was lucky enough to win tickets to Houston's first ever Curry Crawl from Houston Tidbits and we headed out to Straits at CityCentre for the event on Sunday afternoon (with the little man in tow - thank goodness he is so well behaved and sweet that he allows us to have a life!). We sampled bites from some of Houston's best chefs, and my favorite was a curried BBQ pork from Blu Restaurant, somewhere we had never heard of but will be visiting in the near future.

Now I'm off to a busy and hopefully very productive week! What did you all do this weekend?
